Garden lighting is often considered something that is very hard to do. However Malibu by Intermatic makes garden lighting as simple as doing the planting in your garden. All you need to do is think of what you want lit, then come up with a design after you have chosen your fixtures.

Solar Lighting
Although solar fixtures look as nice as hard wired fixtures, I highly unrecommend them. Most fixtures are made with an amber bulb. Who wants an orange light in their garden? These bulbs are also very dim. If any of the foliage around your solar lights is lit up, then consider youreself lucky! Next there are batteries which will eventually no longer hold their charge and will have to be replaced. These batteries can be expensive and hard to find. And of course price is also another down factor. Solar lights are very expensive. If you choose not to take my advice, then buy a fixture with a white LED, or a fluorescent bulb. They are both more expensive and very hard to find, but they are better!
